Old Things

Well, it has been sometime since I tapped out a few lines. I guess I may have lost interest....who knows? I do enjoy reading others blogs, so, boring as I am, here is what I have for those who care to view today.
I have been kinda busy today, thank the Lord. I helped Valerie uproot and replant some flowers for her mom and dad. As we worked, I thought about the uprooting that has taken place in my life. It has been a long time since I worked in flowers and plants. I became so satisfied with my work as a nurse, with my job as a wife and mother, with my life--peaceful and settled (that seems to be saying a mouthful for a ministers wife of 38 years). It seems I may have been getting a little root bound in my planter. As we divided the plants today, to help them grow and to multiply, I wondered if this is why we have had such a change in our lives? It seems as though all that was normal for me and my family, is now foreign. I pray the dividing of our roots, will make us grow into more beautiful creatures of God, and help us to bloom and flourish.
Well, that is all for now. Much love to you.
