My Day

Well, Bro. Mc and Wilson went to Kamloops today to a wildlife park...NOT MY THING. So, I lit into some housework. Vacuuming, washing, drying, folding, bed changing.... Five loads of laundry...how can 3 people mess up so many clothes so fast???
I have been making some fruit jellies. Successfully making red plum, cherry and some nectarine and peach butter---mmmm-good stuff. But, peach jelly has whooped me. I cooked the stuff twice and still no gel.
Today I tried the peach jelly (syrup)..Ha Ha. I also canned 4 pints of nectarines and 6 quarts of peach pie filling. I am exhausted. Everything sealed and the mess is cleaned up.
Not working in public work has been a challenge for me. I have stayed busy this summer, but, not sure how I will survive the winter. Last winter I learned to love Sudoku and reintroduced myself to jigsaw puzzles. And also reading some blogs kept me kinda occupied, but, not busy enough...but, as the song says-I will survive.
