Yakima Report

Sorry for the delay. I have not been in the mood to blog.

We had a wonderful meeting with the people at Yakima. We had two nights of meetings. On Tuesday and Wednesday night (the 14th and 15th). Several in attendance each night. Tuesday, I think there were 10 people from that area, and Wednesday-12 or 13. The folks seem sincere in their search for the will of God.
On Thursday night, we had not planned on another service. We were visiting with Brother and Sister Collins. They were super to us during our stay in Yakima. As we were visiting, another Sister (Rosemary Dilger) called and then came over. They indicated they were ready to become members of the church. We organized with three members.
We are praying for a pastor for the work in Canada. We feel strongly that more will come when they feel they have a leader to follow. The Collins are continuing on until we can make some arrangements here. They are searching for a place to worship. God is able to provide what we need. We were wonderfully blessed in our Regional Convention. God's blessings were with us. The region gave us a fantastic welcome. The Word was powerful and effective. We had 51 in attendance and an offering to purchase a printer for our regional paper. God is always Good.
He never fails us---even when we fail him. After 1400 miles and 7 nights away from home, we are back here in Vernon.
I have applied for my Washington nurses license. I think that process will take about 2-3 weeks, depending on their backlog of applications for various professions. When I receive those, most probably, I will go there, start work and find housing..etc. Wilson will be with me there. I know he would rather be nearer to Chelsey, but, he needs to find employment and make some plans for the future. Chelsey is concentrating on her college work.
I am so thankful for my children. I am thankful they are willing to follow God. They have always been cooperative with our moves we have made.
We desire your prayers for the work before us.

How wonderful to have another church organized in the NW region! I was so glad to hear that we got enough money for a new regional printer. It will be nice to have a paper again. :)

3 months...so Feb. sometime you and Wilson will move? We'll be praying for these upcoming months before you.

It was good to hear from you again.
