NW REGION LADIES RETREAT

Heaven came down and glory filled our soul. The ladies that attended were really blessed by the Spirit of God. We met on Friday evening at the Lazy F Ranch outside of Ellensburg, WA. Everyone was so excited to be able to come, most were there early and pitched in to help with the first night preparations.
The Lord just came in and dwelt among us for the entire weekend. We had two classes. One by Sister Brenda Bell and one by Sister Diana Barker. They truly prayed in preparation, because you could feel the Lord ministering during each of these classes.
Sister Betty Bishop was our special guest speaker. She gave us the Word of God without hesitation. The Holy Ghost visited us and talked about our faithfulness to the Lord. He promised to be with us and encouraged us to remain faithful.
The age ranges were from 16 to 82. We were pleased to have a visitor from Mississippi. Sis Janie Robinson, the state WMB coordinator. She was truly a blessing. We are thankful that she was able to come with Sis. Bishop.
In preparation for our retreat, we were concerned as to how we would be able to meet the expenses of our guest. With little time for a fund raiser, we put our heads together and decided to have an auction. We had some interesting items donated: A gingerbread house from The Gingerbread Factory in Portland; a couple of sets of blue floral pitchers; a picture taken by Sis Adams and framed; mutiple products including lotions, soaps and candles; a beautiful picture frame (for about 20 pictures); a small lighthouse figurine; chocolate covered pretzels; a red apron and oven mitt; a couple of hosiery bags for the washing machine; etc. Do you know God blessed our effort and we raised over $600.00.
For the 18 of us, God really moved. He shared His love with us; we shared our love to Him.
We had one time for small groups for talking and prayer. And we also had a wonderful Friendhip Cup exchange- and will have a prayer partner for the year.
All in all--the best Ladies Retreat I have ever attended.

Hopefully, I'll have a chance to post some pictures from the retreat when I get back from Oklahoma. I'm still marveling in all that God did for me while we were there, even though He truly had started the changes weeks before. He is so very good to us and I am so overwhelmed by His love. I have had several opportunities since this past Thursday to testify to sinners of all that God is doing and it has been so much fun! I feel like I'm walking on air, don't care if my feet ever touch the ground again. Love ya!
