Well, I could say good morning, I guess. It has been another sleepless night. Woke up at 2 am, unable to go back to sleep. I got up, had my devotion time for the day, prayer time and here I sit til time to get my handsome son up for work.
I have been fairly busy. Thanksgiving was work. I have cooked for the staff at the nursing home for 3 years now. I think I will have to stop that. I was so tired by bedtime on Thursday night---whew. Thanksgiving dinner was nice with Allene and Rick, Wilson, and the 3 grands. Grandpa Mc ate razor blades for breakfast though, he kept us in stitches all day. Friday with the family was so nice. A little shopping, a little food, a lot of fun.
I am truly thankful for my family. I realize that they have sacrificed mom's time many, many times for church work, for demanding church members and for my work. I can truthfully say that I am trying to focus more on their needs now. Of course, you may say that you should have done that when your children were young. I did, I think, just looking back I wish I had said "NO" to some people who expected so much more than they should have. I feel most of the time we had some kind of balance between obligations and family. But, time gets away from you and you always wish you could have more time.
Well, time to get wonderboy up and start preparing for the day.
Still praying for God's will for the body of Christ.
