National Nurses Day

Hey,
I checked my blog today and noted some changes. I do guess it has been a very long time since I have tapped out a thought. There are several reasons/excuses for that. Bro. Mc had a hip replacement in Jan. He is doing very well now, no cane---and NO pain. Thank the Lord for that. He has suffered from awful knee and leg pain for 3 years. It is amazing what kind of pain a malformed/injured hip joint can cause. He is rejoicing.

The boys are finishing up their school year. We are looking forward to the end of the school year presentation on Memorial Day. They do this every year for the grandparents. I am so very proud of them.

Other news that excites me... my neice has finished her law school and passed her bar exam. I am so very excited for her, but even more important than that--she and her husband have committed to the Lord.

Wilson has been to youth convention this weekend and he is at Grayson's now. He says they had a good time of worship and fellowship.

As for me, it has been very busy on my job. We are preparing for our annual survey. It is a trying time and very stressful. We have made great improvements since 2003, but, I know there is so much more to do and so many more ways we need to improve. The Lord has blessed us with some very good nurses and most of all some very hard working nursing assistants. I could never express my appreciation---I just do not have the words for how important they are to the nursing home industry.

Speaking of nurses and nursing assistants. Next week is nurses week, May 6-12 and National Nurses day is May 6. So let nurses know how much you appreciate them.

Well, I am sorry it has been so long since I have blogged. There is no way I could tell you all the reasons why, but, I will try to be more diligent.

Good night for now.
