Just a praise report. We (our nursing home) had our annual survey this week. Unless you have ever been through this process, you will not appreciate what I have to post today.
Five years ago, the facility had about 50 deficiencies. Some minor things, some really bad things. My first survey there in 2004 (had been there 6 months) we had 21 deficiencies. About 15 of those in nursing (my area). In 2006 we had 11 deficiencies (7 nursing). This year we had a total of 2 deficiencies. One environmental in the kitchen (work needs to be done on the floor) and one---ONLY ONE---in nursing.
My, my, my as Bro. Mc would say, the Lord has helped us tremendously. He has helped me to hire some wonderful people that love the elderly and that care about doing the right thing. I just cannot praise Him enough.
Now---He did wonderful things for the sinking nursing home----I am depending on Him to do wonderful things for His Bride......We must have people with a heart for the work....We must be honest and forthright with God and our fellow members. God will help us.
A bulletin quote that was in our bulletin about 3 1/2 years ago..."IF GOD BRINGS YOU TO IT HE WILL BRING YOU THROUGH IT"
Again, I am depending on Him.
